Seat 22A: First-Time Solo Adventure

Hi,
My name is Harpreet. I’ve just visited Dubai to see my other half.

This was my first time travelling alone, visiting Dubai, and also flying Virgin Atlantic. I must say all components went beyond my expectations.

Virgin Atlantic started off the journey well, then landing in Dubai, the heat (gloom) sun was perfect (yes at times a bit much, and I appreciate A.C.’s much more!).

I spent time in Atlantis Palm, went to lovely restaurants, and overall this has built my confidence in travelling. Can’t wait for the next trip!

Your first solo adventure sounds amazing and the way you describe it really captures the mix of excitement and discovery. Flying alone can feel daunting, but it’s clear you embraced every part of the journey.

I love how you noticed the little things, like appreciating the A.C. more in the Dubai heat... those are the kinds of details that make travel so memorable and Atlantis Palm with its restaurants sounds like a perfect place to celebrate that new-found confidence.
