A lovely connective idea to help us as " a people" get back to interaction, rather than the current "default setting" of fear.
I’ve travelled the world as a roadie, helping to put shows on for bands such as Lady Gaga, Mötley Crüe, Shania Twain, Tool, Britney Spears — the list is endless.
It’s been years of my life, seeing people in their happiest moments watching and listening to live music.
I’m flying from London to LA. I just worked with Neil Gaiman as he performed with the British majesty that is the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
My husband of almost 10 years is waiting at home for me. We met on the Rob Zombie tour. He also tours as a lighting tech/pyro tech.
Thank you for this experiment. Wish you safe travels.

Hi Cat,
Your story feels like a song itself...lol.
I love how you’ve spent your life bringing joy to others through music. Live shows are one of the rare moments when thousands of strangers breathe the same rhythm, feel the same beat, and forget everything else. That’s connection in its purest form.
Also, I love that, even with all your travels, your story ends with something simple and powerful: going home to someone who understands the road as much as you do.
Safe travels to you too, and thank you for adding your voice to my Sky Story Project.

Cat’s story reminds us that connection takes many forms: a stadium full of fans, a handwritten note at 35,000 feet, or simply knowing someone is waiting for you at home.
The world can often feel divided, but human joy is universal. Music, love, stories, these are the threads that tie us together.
What moment has reminded you that we’re all connected?
